“Gulf Air Baby” needs breast milk, wet nurse

September 18, 2010

Baby George Francis, the little angel sadly abandoned by his mom in a trash bin in a Gulf Air plane, is in need of breast milk and a wet nurse.

He is currently under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman said that they have only been feeding Baby George Francis with formula milk. She added that they are coordinating with non-government organizations for breast milk donations and has looked into getting a “wet nurse” for Baby George.

To give breast milk to Baby George, Sec. Dinky said to e-mail her directly at dinky@dswd.gov.ph, visit her office, or call at telephone number 734-8639.

I know that a lot of Breastfeeding Pinays will respond to the call. Go moms! Share the love!
